  • 50 YEARS OF FILM (3-LPs w/Booklet) Scenes & Stars from WB 1923-1973 (EX)

There is only 1 item left in stock.
Here is 50 YEARS OF FILM (3-LP set with large booklet (60 pages) with b/w and color photos of posters and photographs from the studio's private collection, revealing the changing face of the WB family of players and creators, from Busby Berkeley to Humphrey Bogart to Marlon Brando (taken from back cover).  These LPs have memorable moments and conversations from the movies between 1923-1973 covering Al Jolson's "You ain't heard nothin' yet" to Clint Eastwood's "Well, what da ya say, punk?"  Etched matrix on first LP reads:  3XX-1-2737-WW2.

The top corner right had some tearing (photo attached).  Everything is readable on the cover, plus the back inside sleeves for all 3 albums.  The labels of all 3 LPs are in perfect condition.  Record 1:  A couple of super light small scuffs on Side 2.  Record 2:  Found 3 super light scratches on Side III and only 1 super light hairline scratch on side IV.  Record 3:  Three super light scratches found on Side VI and only a couple small light scuffs on Side V.  You only can see this under a bright lamp and you are really looking hard for them because they are super light.  They did not affect sound quality at all.  I played the records through to a point.  No skips or pops or crackles.  I did hear some very fine little crackling at the beginning when there would be silence before the conversation or music.  It was very minimal and nothing abnormal or overpowering at all.  The booklet is cool!  There are a couple of little dark marks on the front where you would open the booklet, but that's it.

I give the box carton only a Very Good Plus (VG+) due to some flaking as mentioned.  But the vinyl I give an EXCELLENT due to very few surface scratches only noticeable under bright lamp (you have to move very slowly to catch them) and sound quality was great!   Nice piece of history to have and memories of cool movies!
