  • CLASSIC YES (7"@33rpm!) Roundabout, I've Seen All Good People (Atl PR 415) 1981

There is only 1 item left in stock.

Here is a RARE Yes record as their 7" single that is playable at 33 1/3 rpm! (Not 45 rpm!) Called CLASSIC YES and side 1 has Roundabout on it.  Side 2 has I've Seen All Good People (a. Your Move; b. All Good People).   Roundabout was recorded at Oakland Coliseum in San Francisco in 1978; Side 2 was recorded at Wembley Empire Pool.  On Atlantic white label PR 415.  Etched matrix reads:  ST-PR-40563-1.  Roundabout side is 7:23 minutes and All Good People side is 7:00 minutes!

Only comes with a beige cover sleeve, no picture sleeve.  The white label is in great shape, both sides, no writing anywhere.  Side 1 has a tiny light scratch at the beginning of the grooves and then some light scratches with scuffs in one area of which I put up a photo, too.  Side 2 has a light scuff and some light surface scratches only visible under a bright lamp.  The sound quality was pretty good!  Very few crackles, mainly in the beginning maybe 4 times where that short scratch was in the beginning grooves and that was more of a light tick sound each time around and then all went well.  All the light crackles were minor since the Yes music was loud and a live show and probably just over-rode it.

I have a sound bite of of this on so you can decide for yourself if the crackles are minor.  (They are.)  Here's a link to filedropper to listen a bit of the 45 rpm--copy and paste it in another tab to open it.  Then hit Download This File and it should start playing!

I rate the looks and sound quality of the record as Very Good Plus (VG+).
