  • CLAPTON, ERIC (LP) "August" (Duck Records 1-25476) 1986 (VG+)

    $9.50 $7.50
There is only 1 item left in stock.

Here is Eric Clapton's LP entitled "August."  On his label Duck Records I-25476 from 1986 which is also part of the Warner Bros. label.  Tina Turner, Gary Brooker, and Phil Collins are on this LP.  It's the 10th studio album Clapton made.  (Phil Collins produced it along with Tom Dowd.)  The song "It's in the Way That You Use It" was featured in the movie, "The Color of Money."

Side 1:  It's In The Way That You Use It; Run; Tearing Us Apart; Bad Influence; Walk Away; Hung Up On Your Love.
Side 2:  Take A Chance; Hold On; Miss You; Holy Mother; Behind The Mask.

The front cover is in great shape.  Only some light white flaking at the bottom seam and the corner.  A little of the same at the top seam left side.  Inside the gatefold sleeve is Eric's full face photo and it's in great shape (his face, too--for 1986!)  Back cover shows just a little white flaking at the bottom seam and corners.  The silver/gray Duck label is in great shape.  Side one on the vinyl does have some light scuffing in one area, but it did not affect the sound quality.  There are only a couple of light surface scratches.  Same for Side 2, but less scuffing.  It looks like it wasn't played much at all.  I did play it through and sound quality was excellent.  No skips or pops!

I rate the cover as Very Good Plus (VG+) or VG++.  The vinyl I rate at Very Good Plus (VG+) to Excellent (EX)!
