  • QUINN, FREDDY (PS/45) Heimatlos/Wer das vergisst (Polydor 45-23381) 1957

    There is only 1 item left in stock.

    Here is a 7" single 45 rpm (w/picture sleeve) of Freddy Quinn's Heimatlos and flip side is Wer das vergisst.  It's on the Polydor label, 45-23381 and produced in 1957.  Made in Germany.  Freddy was a very popular pop singer/performer in Europe from 1953-2009.  Heimatlos was a song I remember my parents playing on their stereo when I was a very little kid.

    The picture sleeve is in pretty good shape for one from 1957.  It's the same picture of him on both sides.  There is a little wrinkle in one upper corner and minimal ringwear. The ringwear is more like a wrinkle rather than light or dark fade spots.  The Polydor label is in great shape.  It has the B side listed as Heimatlos, but that was the more popular song as I remember.  Both sides of the vinyl have a lot of extremely very light short scratches and a couple of light longer ones, but very fine and you see it only looking under a bright lamp.  The vinyl is actually still shiny!  Played it through and there were no skips or pops, but at the very beginning on both sides for about 5 seconds when playing there was a slight crackling sound, but then it stopped right away.  The rest had some very minor crackling here and there, but when playing it loud, it's really hidden, unless you are standing there purposely trying to listen for it like I am doing.

    I rate the cover as Very Good Plus (VG+) to Excellent (EX) and the 45 as Very Good Plus (VG+).  P { margin-bottom: 0.08in; }
