George Benson's album from 1980 "Give Me The Night" on Warner Brothers label, but also with a small Qwest logo on the label, too. This album was the first one producer Quincy Jones put on his Quest label. WB/Qwest HS 3453.
Give Me the Night and Love X Love are known as some of the best of romantic disco/R&B tunes, with upbeat lyrics and great guitar sounds. Give Me the Night also won 4 Grammy awards in 1980.
Side 1: Love X Love; Off Bradway; Moody's Mood; Give Me The Night.
Side 2: What's On Your Mind; Dinorah, Dinorah; Love Dance; Start of a Story; Midnight Love Affair; Turn Out the Lamplight.
The front cover is in great shape, but there are 5 little scratches on the left top and middle side, as you can see if you zoom in. The corners are intact. Back cover is perfect. The inside sleeve has one side in a pinkish color with the lyrics. Side 2 inside sleeve has a photo of him on it, plus signatures by Quincy Jones and George Benson (pre-made signatures when manufacturing the cover.) The album is in great shape. Shiny. Just see a couple of really light scratches (only seen under a bright lamp) and side 1 has a few scuffs coming from pulling it in and out of the inner sleeve. None of this affects the sound quality at all. It's beautiful. No skips, pops, or crackles. IT SOUNDS NEW!
I rate the cover sleeve as Excellent (EX) and the vinyl as Near Mint Minus (NM-) to Excellent (EX) (due to the scuffs).
