Introducing the IN-SECT Direct
From England. An album from this British band back in 1965. RCA Camden
CAL-909 in Mono. At this time the band was under 21 years of age.
They do other British band tunes from the Beatles, Herman's Hermits, and
even a Beach Boys song. I understand that they were also known as
"The Flies" as this being a pre-Flies debut LP in USA.
Side 1: Reelin' and Rockin'; Ticket to Ride; Help Me Ronda; There Ain't No Woman; Yes It Is.
Side 2: Can't You Hear My Heartbeat; Do the Freddie; Silhouettes; The Biggest Lie; You Were Made For Me.
The front cover does show some ringwear around and a few white tear/scratch marks at the left middle section. The corners show a little wear. Back cover looks better than the front cover with the ringwear amazingly. Just some tan spots and marks here and there. The blue green RCA label is in good shape with very few spindle marks. The vinyl has one long scuff mark on Side 1 and a few shorter ones on both sides. Also, around 4 or 5 very light surface scratches on both sides. None of this affected the sound performance. That was great. Very crisp, no skips or pops. Not really any crackles were heard either. I never played the LP much over the years.
I rate the cover as Very Good (VG) to Very Good Plus (VG+) for a 1965 cover; and the vinyl at Very Good Plus (VG+) to Excellent (EX)!
