  • REEVES, MARTHA and The Vandellas (45/7") Dancing in the Street (Motown Yesteryear) (EX)

    There is only 1 item left in stock.

    Here are Martha and the Vandellas with Dancing in the Street/In My Lonely Room 45 rpm. Matrix side 1 reads: Y 451 f B  ALP -093103 It is on the Motown Yesteryear Series, not a label, but considered a 'Series.'  No date as to when this song was reissued, but I assume late '70s or early '80s.  (I remember when even the Kinks did Dancing In The Street, too.)

    The label is in great shape.  Only comes in a white paper sleeve.  The record sounds great!  No crackles, skips, or pops.  There's just a couple of super light surface scratches and a small scuff or two on both sides.  On side 2 there is a small 'bubble' at the beginning edge 'matrix' before the grooves start, but it didn't affect the performance at all.  I read some reviews about this series and some people commented about it being lesser quality than the original Gordy label, but this 45 rpm isn't that bad at all.  Martha's voice is clear and crisp and background music is fine.

    I rate the 45 rpm at Excellent (EX) as sound quality is great.  P { margin-bottom: 0.08in; }
