  • MOST, MICKIE Presents English In-Groups (LP/Comp) Metro MS 577 (1966) VG+

    There is only 1 item left in stock.

    Mickie Most presents English In-Groups on Metro Records MS-577.  From 1966.  Back cover says this record is a repackage of the MGM album E/SE-4306.    Kind of nice to have this LP with England's top groups on here as some were not known in the USA.

    Side 1:  Herman's Hermits (Wonderful World); The Symbols (Don't Go); The Cherokees (I Will Never Turn My Back on You); The Animals (Bring It On Home To Me); The Moquettes (You Came Along).

    Side 2:  The Animals (House of the Rising Sun); The Moquettes (Right String Baby, But the Wrong Yo-Yo); Herman's Hermits (Mrs. Brown, You've Got A Lovely Daughter); The Cherokees (Rejected); The Symbols (You Are My Girl)

    The cover is in okay shape but has owner's name (JIM) written in ink in the top center area.  Bottom seam has a 4" tear as picture shows.  Top seam has about a 3" opening there.  There is some darkening (aging) of the white cover at the top and bottom areas and some dark marks on the left side seam.  Back cover has the sides of the white cover starting to get a little beige/tan look to it from age.  Someone made a circle around the number 4, 1, and 3 of the songs.  The black Metro label is in great shape with only minimal spindle marks.  Just a plain inner sleeve.  The vinyl, side 1, has some scuffing in one area.  Side 2 has 2 light surface scratches and a few areas of scuffing, also.  But none of this is feelable and it did not affect the sound performance.  No skips or pops.  It did have a little bit of crackling here and there, but not enough to detract from the overall sound quality.

    I grade the cover as Very Good (VG) due to the seam tears and name written in and the vinyl I grade at Very Good Plus (VG+) as the sound is great!    P { margin-bottom: 0.08in; }
