  • GALLAGHER, RORY, "BLUEPRINT" LP, Polydor PD-5522. 1973 (VG+-EX)

There is only 1 item left in stock.

RORY GALLAGHER with his LP Blueprint from 1973.  On red Polydor PD-5522, stereo.  Rory was an Irish blues and rock multi-instrumentalist, songwriter, and bandleader.  He was born in Ireland.  He formed the band Taste during the late 1960s.  Unfortunately he received a liver transplant in 1995, but died of complications later that year in London at the age of 47.  I was lucky to see him perform a couple of times in the Cleveland area back in my youth!  What class he had!  Why do the good die young?

Side 1:  Walk on Hot Coals; Daughter of the Everglades; Banker's Blues; Hands Off.
Side 2:  Race the Breeze; The Seventh Son of a Seventh Son; Unmilitary Two-Step; If I Had A Reason.

The front cover has minimal corner wear and very little ringwear shows.  Mainly at the very top middle where there is a light whitish streak.  A little wrinkle in the front cover shows on the right side mid area near the open seam.  Left side seam with the title looks good.  Back cover looks good.  Vinyl:  At first, because it was shiny, I thought it was Excellent.  But I put it under the bright lamp and saw at least 10 extremely light surface scratches and some scuffs on both sides.  BUT the good news is it didn't affect the sound performance at all!  That was fantastic!  No skips or pops or cracking.  Comes with a plain white inner sleeve.

I rate the cover as Very Good Plus (VG+) or even a little bit better and the Vinyl at Very Good Plus (VG+) for viewing under a bright lamp, but EXCELLENT to NEAR MINT for SOUND QUALITY!!!
