  • HAMILTON, ROY (LP/33) Come Out Swingin' (Epic) 1959, VG++

There is only 1 item left in stock.

Roy Hamilton, Come Out Swingin' LP from 1959. Music arranged and conducted by Marion Evans. On Epic LN 3561 Hi Fidelity.

Side 1: Great Day; Ac-Cent-Tchu-Ate the Positive; Hallelujah!; That Great Come and Get It Day; Some Days There Just Ain't No Fish; Sing You Sinners. Side 2: Blow, Gabriel, Blow; Get Happy; Jump for Joy; I Ain't A-Gonna Leave My Love No More; Peace, Brother; The Lonesome Road.

Poor guy passed away at just about 40 years old after suffering from a stroke. A voice to always remember!

The cover sleeve is in great condition with only some whitish fade spots here and there. No seam splits. Back cover is very clean but has three small light ink initials of OFS upper left corner. Inner sleeve is just a plain tan one. LP itself has no writing on the labels, but under a bright lamp I do see some very light scuffs and a few light scratches that did not affect the sound quality, nor can you feel the scratches. It sounds great!

I rate the cover sleeve as Very Good Plus (VG+) to Excellent (EX) and the LP itself as a Very Good Plus (VG+) (just because of the visible scuffs that don't affect the quality) otherwise, even a bit better at VG++!
