    $10.00 $5.00
There is only 1 item left in stock.

Sammy Davis, Jr. album on Reprise R-6051 as Stereo on front cover, but on label it is RS 6051.  Matrix # side 1 is 30157-RS6051-A 1C; side 2 is 30158 (1-B).  Title says "What Kind of Fool Am I and Other Show-Stoppers."  There was a first LP on Reprise that was year 1961 or 1962, but this one must be a reissue on Reprise because the label is the later orange/tan one with the steamboat on it.  And the inside sleeve for Reprise mentions a list of bands that had their first albums much later than 1962 (such as Frank Zappa, Jethro Tull, Jimi Hendrix, and Electric Prunes... more like 1967 or 1968!)  Feel free to email me and correct me on this date for Sammy Davis LP I'm selling as no date is mentioned on the label or cover.

This album contains show tunes and became one of his most highest-charting albums during the '60s.  Arranged and conducted by Marty Paich.

Side 1:  What Kind of Fool Am I; Once In A Lifetime; A Lot of Livin' To Do; Begin the Beguine; Can't We Be Friends; Something's Coming.

Side 2:  Gonna Build A Mountain; Someone Nice Like You; Too Close For Comfort; My Romance; Thou Swell; Lost in The Stars.

The cover sleeve is in great shape. The corners are intact and no seam tears and barely any ringwear.  You see a little darker fade marks starting at the very top middle area on front cover.  Back cover is perfect.  Just a little darker coloring starting at the top and left side by opening which is due to age and the fact it is a white cover. Inside cover sleeve with Reprise name on it is included (pix attached).  The label is in perfect condition.  The vinyl is very shiny and I can't find any scratches anywhere!  The sound quality was super.  Like it was never played!

I would grade the cover sleeve as Excellent (EX). The vinyl I would rate at Near Mint (NM) to Near Mint Minus (NM-).
