Tony Mottola and his orchestra with
"Sentimental Guitar." This is on the White Command Records label RS 864
SD (Stereo). 1964 was the year. It was originated and produced by
Enoch Light. GATEFOLD COVER.
Side 1: In A Sentimental Mood; S'Posin'; If I Had You; Body and Soul; I Hadn't Anyone 'Till You; You Go To My Head.
Side 2: Sentimental Guitar; In the Wee Small Hours of the Morning; The Nearness of You; But Beautiful; I've Got A Crush on You; You Make Me Feel So Young.
The cover is beautiful for 51 years old. No obvious marks on the cover and no tears and it is a gatefold. That inside has a few dark dots at the upper section on both sides and a small tear at the inside middle and a copy of the pix is showing this. Back cover is great. There is a 4" bottom seam tear but it doesn't go all the way to the end where the opening is. A little bit of corner wear is at that opening seam, too. The vinyl: The white label has some light spindle marks if you look closely under a bright lamp. Side 1 has several very light surface scratches, unfeelable, and also a section where there are scuff marks. Same for Side 2. But none of these affected the sound quality. No skips or pops. The few crackles here and there were very minimal and in between the songs.
I rate the cover as Excellent (EX) and the Vinyl as Very Good Plus-Plus (VG++) if not even closer to EX.
